Mohsin Ali, an epic struggle of courage and determination

Setting example for others is not an easy job but Mohammad Mohsin Ali has set an example for all under privileged class in Pakistan who have very limited resources for better education in the country. Mohsin secured Top Position in the Punjab University' BA examination in year 2012.  Shown above in the picture with his parents, Mohsin earns his livelihood by baking bread in a clay over and of course manages his studies.

Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Chief Minister of Punjab both have announced Rs. 1 million each for his support of higher education.  The chief minister also ordered that Mohsin will be allotted a house through the Ashiana Housing Scheme. Mr. Mohsin, a resident of Hafizabad who works at a tandoor and is the son of a labourer, stunned everyone by securing 688 marks and getting the first position in BA examinations.

Talking to media he said that he lived in a hut and works for at a tandoor. “I belong to a poor family and help my father earning bread and butter for the family,” the topper said adding that he struggled very hard to continue his studies. Mohsin said he wanted to get degree of M.A English and then Phd.  There is no doubt that students like Mohsin are the real stars of the nation and are beacon of light.
